KILCUMMIN GAA
CO LEAGUE DIV 1
Kilcummin 1-20 Gneeveguilla 3-12
Our lads picked up two valuable league points against neighbours Gneeveguilla on Saturday in a very sporting and entertaining encounter. There was only a point between the teams at half time and despite conceding an early second half goal, we controlled the first twenty minutes of the half with a Matt Keane goal helping us to an eight point lead at one stage. However we had to withstand a late spirited Gneeveguilla revival and Brendan Kealy was called upon a couple of times in those final minutes to see us win by four points.
Team and scorers: Brendan Kealy ( 0-3), Jack Fogarty, Damien O’ Leary, James Williams, James Nagle, Dara O’ Callaghan (0-1), Kellan O’ Shea, Kevin Gorman, Paul O’ Shea (0-2), Mark O’ Shea (0-3) Colm Kelleher, Chris O’ Leary (0-1), Mikey Casey (0-3), Gary O’ Leary (0-2) Ian Devane (0-3) Subs used Matt Keane (1-02), Cian Lynch, Paudie Moynihan.
