APPRECIATION

Huge Thanks to the Principals and Staff of Coolick & Anablaha Schools and the ladies committee of Mastergeeha Soccer Club for hosting and entertaining the Spring Stations. They were most enjoyable with lots of home baking & sandwiches and the social gathering afterwards. We also want to thank Fr. Kieran, Fr. Jim and Fr. Joe for making the Mass so special for all the families of the townlands. Míle Buíochas.

CORPUS CHRISTI

This year’s Corpus Christi Procession will take place on Sunday, 7th June, after 11.30am Mass in our Lady of Lourdes Church.

50TH ANNIVERSARY MASS

Our Lady of Lourdes Church will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary Mass on Saturday, 20^th June at 7.30pm. More details to follow.

KILCUMMIN GAA

MCCARTHY INSURANCE CO LEAGUE DIV 1 

Our senior team hosted an impressive Dingle team on Sunday and lost out by five points 4-15 to 2-16. Paul O’Shea accounted for 2-07, Kieran Murphy 0-4, Cian Foley 0-3 and a point each from Mikey Casey and Chris O’Leary. Our next game is away to Beaufort in two weeks.

Best wishes to Dara Stack and his Kerry team mates in the U-20 All Ireland final against Tyrone this Saturday in Croke Park. Game live on TG4.

Our Div 6 team travelled to Tuosist on Sunday and lost out by two points on a score line 1-20 to 2-15. Aaron Buckley and Sean Doolan scored a goal each while Mikey O'Shea accounted for six points.

KILCUMMIN COMMUNITY GAMES

U12 MIXED RELAY

The U12 Mixed Distance Relay All-Ireland final was held in Gormanstown on Sunday 24^th May. Huge congratulations to Charlie Jay Kelliher and his team mates Luke McCann, Spa-Fenit-Barrow; Cillian Murphy, Fossa; Brandon Scanlon, Jack Sheehy and James Sheehy all from the Ballyduff club who came first in the competition and are now All-Ireland champions.

ART COMPETITION

Congratulations to Dara O’Donoghue who won a gold medal in the U12 Art competition in the County Finals, also to Rachel O’Riordan who won gold in the U8 Art Competition. They now go through to the All-Ireland, which will be held on the weekend of the 5^th/6^th September.
