Details of these walks which are rich in a variety of flora & fauna, are in the “Kilcummin Walks” brochures (free of charge) which are available at the Rural Development Office and the Post Office. Why not pick one up and it may inspire you to discover this beautiful amenity which is enjoyed by many already. Please be mindful of keeping this a clean, safe and friendly place to enjoy by bringing your rubbish home, keeping your dog(s) on a lead when you come in contact with fellow walkers or wildlife and respecting the local landowners’ property.

MC CARTHY INSURANCE CO LEAGUE DIV 1
Rathmore 2-16 Kilcummin 1-20
Our senior team travelled to Rathmore on Sunday knowing that nothing other than a victory was necessary to have any chance of maintaining their Div 1 status and they did not disappoint with a sterling performance. Playing with the elements in the first half we kicked some good scores to lead at half time 0-13 to 0-6, however it was in the second half when they were faced with a Rathmore revival they showed their resolve and resilience to eke out a one point victory. Well done to players and management for achieving their goal as we look forward to the Intermediate club championship in a few weeks’ time.

Played in Kilcummin on Friday evening our lads played very well for periods but despite being level at half time we lost out on a score line 1-21 to 0-12. Scorers:
Colin O’ Leary 0-3, Sean Doolan 0-2, Jack O’ Donoghue 0-2, Aaron Buckley 0-2, J. Devane 0-2, Paudie Moynihan 0-1.
LOTTO
There was no winner of our lotto on Monday 29th June for the Jackpot of €9,000. Numbers drawn were 02,18,19,22. Consolation prizes of €50 Mike Moloney, Teresa Murphy, Debbie Doolan, Denis Harrington. Our next draw will be on Monday 13th July for Jackpot of €9,250 Thank you for your continued support.
