KILCUMMIN LOOKING GOOD
Kilcummin Looking Good would like to thank Kerry County Council for their financial assistance under the Community Support Fund 2026 in respect of €1,031.00. This money will be utilised to enhance works on our Biodiversity Community Park and Village. We also like to acknowledge Kerry County Council for their ongoing support for our community group, and we are most grateful for the funding, which allows all the work and improvements to take place throughout the year.
COFFEE MORNING
Save the date: Kilcummin Looking Good coffee morning takes place on Sunday, 14th June, in the Recreational Hall. More details to follow.
50TH ANNIVERSARY MASS
Our Lady of Lourdes Church will be celebrating their 50th Anniversary Mass on Saturday, 20th June at 7.30pm. More details to follow.
GLOUNONEA GROTTO
Mass for Glounonea Grotto will take place on Thursday, 21st May @7.30pm.
BOG WALKS
Details of these walks which are rich in a variety of flora & fauna, are in the “Kilcummin Walks” brochures (free of charge) which are available at the Rural Development Office and the Post Office. Why not pick one up and it may inspire you to discover this beautiful amenity which is enjoyed by many already. Please be mindful of keeping this a clean, safe and friendly place to enjoy by bringing your rubbish home. This space is home to a variety of nesting birds and other sensitive wildlife, particularly during the breeding season when disturbance can have serious consequences. Unleashed dogs, even those that seem well-behaved, can easily disrupt nests, scare off parent birds, or harm young animals. We ask all visitors to respect the natural environment by keeping their dogs on a lead at all times, helping to protect the local wildlife that makes this area so special.

CO LEAGUE DIV 1
Kilcummin 1-11 Glenflesk 0-17. Our senior team came up short to a good Glenflesk team despite a late Mikey Casey goal in very difficult conditions on Sunday. Next game is at home to Dingle this coming Sunday at 2pm.
CO LEAGUE DIV 6
Gneeveguilla 3-11 Kilcummin 2-11. A very entertaining game but we just lost out to a strong last quarter from the visiting team. Three points from Mikey O'Shea and goals from Noel Duggan and Sean Doolan helped us to a half time lead of seven points. Next game for this team is away to Tuosist on Sunday @ 2pm.
MASTERGEEHA FC LOTTO
There was no winner of our lotto on Friday, 15th May for the Jackpot of €7,400. Numbers drawn were 3, 5, 23, 27. Consolation prizes of €50 went to Una O’Leary, Lyreatough; Eileen Williams; Kay Cahill c/o Post Office; Podge Crowley. Our next draw will be on Friday 22nd May for Jackpot of €7,600.
KILCUMMIN COMMUNITY GAMES
The Kilcummin Community Games held their sixth Athletics Event at the Killarney Valley AC last Tuesday, 12th May. We wish all the successful participants the best of luck as they proceed to the county finals in Castleisland. 1st & 2nd placed athletes in track events and placed athletes in field events will go forward to the County Competition in An Riocht, Castleisland on the 20th & 21st June. 1st & 2nd placed athletes who have not yet confirmed, please email kilcummincommunitygames.eu by May 26th. Keep an eye on Facebook for training dates. We would like to thank Killarney Valley AC for the opportunity to host our events at their superb facilities, and to Killarney Valleys Con Lynch and members for helping run all the events. We would like to thank all the children for taking part, the parents and many volunteers on the night.
