Expressions Of Interest: Help start Kilcummin Foróige Club! Every week, all across Ireland, young people come together in their local communities to do something simple, but powerful; connect with one another. They run their own club nights with the support of adult volunteers. There might be games, chats, laughter, tea, music – you name it! Foróige is currently seeking expressions of interest from people living in Kilcummin & surrounds who would like to start a Foróige Club in your community. We would like to hear from adults who would like to volunteer. Volunteers can be anyone over the age of 18. You don't need to be an expert in youth work; you just need a passion for supporting young people! Foróige provide full training and support. There are clubs available for Juniors (10-12 years) and Youth Clubs (12-17 years). If you would like to know more please contact Helen in the Rural Development Office on 064 6643357 or Trudy (Foróige Club Development Officer) on 086 834 4978.

PRAYER TO ST. SAINT BRIGID
Brigid,
You were a woman of peace.
You brought harmony where there was conflict.
You brought light to the darkness.
You brought hope to the downcast.
May the mantle of your peace cover those
who are troubled and anxious, and may peace be firmly
rooted in our hearts and in our world.
Inspire us to act justly and to reverence all God has made.
Brigid, you were a voice for the wounded and the weary.
Strengthen what is weak within us.
Calm us into a quietness what heals and listens.
May we grow each day into greater wholeness in mind,
body and spirit.
Amen.
