Volunteer Drivers needed in Kerry: The Irish Cancer Society is seeking compassionate volunteer drivers to join our Transport Team. We are currently looking for drivers in Kerry, particularly those who can drive to hospitals in Limerick. As a volunteer driver, you will bring patients attending chemotherapy appointments to hospital and safely home again. By giving your time, you can help make travelling for treatment a little easier for people affected by cancer. If you can spare 2 days per month, have a valid driving licence, and a safe, reliable vehicle, you are the perfect candidate to make a difference. The Irish Cancer Society provides training and support before you begin volunteering. Your time can make a meaningful difference, providing practical support and reassurance to patients when they need it most. Please contact Monica or Emily at

Prayer to St. Francis
Lord, make me a channel of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love,
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek:
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen
