Communal First Saturday (CFS): For those who would like to fulfil the second of Our Lady’s requests in Fatima for obtaining a period of peace in the world and salvation of souls. The Communal First Saturday devotions will be held on Saturday, 3rd October, in the Church of the Resurrection, Killarney. It will begin at 8.45am with introductory prayers followed by the Rosary at 9am. Mass is at 9.30am with 15 minutes of meditation immediately after Mass. Confession at 8.30am. As requested by Our Lady, Confession, the Rosary, receiving Holy Communion and meditation, all will be done with the intention of making reparation for the offences against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Heavenly Father
You call us to work in your vineyard,
yet so often our actions do not match our words.
We confess that we frequently say "yes" with our lips
but walk away in our deeds,
or let pride keep us from doing your will.
Grant us the humility of Christ Jesus,
who emptied himself and became obedient even unto death.
Change our hearts when we stray, and give us
the courage to repent honestly.
Teach us to obey not out of fear or empty ritual,
but through concrete acts of mercy, love,
and service to others.
May our "yes" be a true reflection of your love.
