The John Paul II Pastoral Centre in Killarney acts as a focal point for the catechetical and faith education programmes of the diocese while the Ardfert Retreat Centre provides the opportunity to take time apart and reflect on God’s call to all the people of our diocese in a peaceful and prayerful environment.

Kilcummin Looking Good: A public information meeting will be held on Monday, 10th of August @ 8pm in Recreational Hall (opposite church) to consider & discuss the proposed development plan for the area in front of the Village Inn.

Street Rosary On Main Street Killarney will be held on Thursday 13th August at 3pm to coincide with the apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima in 1917. We will recite the Rosary and pray for peace. We look forward to welcoming you.
Kilcummin Community Care will be closed for two weeks on the 4th & 11th of August for holidays and will resume on the 18th August. Community Care meet every Tuesday from 11am to 2pm in the G.A.A. hall. Hot dinner provided, free transport available. Anybody interested, please contact Mary Doyle on 064 663357 / 086 1550803.
Kilcummin Baby and Toddler Group are holding a Free Paediatric First Aid Awareness Evening with a fully certified PHECC accredited Paediatric Instructor on Wednesday 12th August from 7pm to 8.30pm in the Recreational Hall, (Eircode V93VX9Y). Topics covered include: Baby choking, Baby CRP, Child choking, Child CRP, Bleeding and wound management, Nosebleeds, Suspected broken bones and fractures, what to do while waiting for emergency services. This informal session is designed to help parents, grandparents, carers, and anyone who looks after children feel more confident in dealing with common childhood emergencies. All donations on the night will go to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. Please spread the word. Any queries contact Paula 087 1302574.
