Second Collection will take place next weekend 1^st /2^nd August on behalf of the Pastoral Centre. The John Paul II Pastoral Centre in Killarney acts as a focal point for the catechetical and faith education programmes of the diocese while the Ardfert Retreat Centre provides the opportunity to take time apart and reflect on God’s call to all the people of our diocese in a peaceful and prayerful environment.

First Saturday Devotions will take place on Saturday, 1^st August in the Church of the Resurrection: Rosary at 9am, followed by Mass at 9.30am.

Baptism: We would like to welcome baby Nora Bridget O’Keeffe, Dooneen and USA into God’s family with joy. Congratulations to her parents and wishing them many years of health and happiness.

Kilcummin Comhaltas would like to acknowledge our members who took part in Fleadh Cheoil na Mumhan last week in Lismore Co. Waterford. Our branch had competitors in music, singing, dancing & Comhra Gaeilge.

Diocesan Pilgrimage To Knock: Coach will depart St. Mary’s Cathedral at 7.00am on Saturday, 22^nd of August; cost is €25 p p. Places limited. Please contact Sheila at the Parish Office to register in person with payment to secure the booking.

“Embrace the Grace” is the title of the Young Adult Catholic Conference (aged 18-40) being held on Saturday, 29^th August, from 9.30am to 6pm at the Legion of Mary, De Montfort House, Morning Star Avenue, Dublin 7, DO7 VAO3. Youth2000 Ireland Annual Summer Festival (aged 16 - 35) which will take place from 13^th – 16^th August in Newbridge College, Co. Kildare. This event brings together young people from across the country for a time of prayer, community and encounter with Christ. The event operates on a donation basis only, there is no charge for attendance. Five buses will travel to Newbridge, Co. Kildare from across Ireland on Thursday, 13^th of August and return on Sunday, 16^th August 2026. A bus will leave Tralee on Thursday morning.
