Trip to Knock: The Annual Parish Pilgrimage to Knock on Saturday, 27^th June, leaving Kilcummin village @7am. Food/refreshments in Gort (optional) morning and evening. Cost €30. (A few seats still available) Please contact Post Office.

Found: Car keys found between Finnegan’s Cross and Coolick School, can be collected in the Rural Development Office.

The 50^th Anniversary of Our Lady of Lourdes Church - Golden Jubilee 1976 – 2026: This Saturday evening at 7.30pm, we come together to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of our church. As we mark 50 years of faith, friendship and community, we warmly invite all parishioners from our Parish and beyond to join us in this special celebration of thanksgiving. Mass will begin at 7.30pm, followed by light refreshments. We’re honoured to welcome Bishop Ray and all the other priest’s, we hope everyone in our community will be part of this milestone. All are welcome.

Appreciation: We warmly congratulate Fr. Kieran, Fr. Joe and Fr. Jim from the Pastoral Area, who recently celebrated significant anniversaries of their ordination, we thank them for their years of faithful service, their dedication to God’s people, and the many ways they have enriched our parish and community life. May the Lord bless them with good health and happiness and every grace as they continue their ministry. We also want to wish Fr. John Ahern our visiting regular priest every blessing as he celebrated his golden Jubilee recently. Huge congratulations to you all.

Midsummer Kerry Head Turas: The Kerry Branch of Cumann na Sagart invites you to visit Kerry Head on Monday 22^nd June next. Pilgrims will meet at St. Mary’s Well,  Ballyheigue at 3pm and travel to the Parish Church en route to St. Dahillan’s,  Tobar na Súl Holy Well and Teampall overlooking the Shannon Estuary before moving on to visit the ancient St. Erc’s Church and relic with  the Casement Memorial as ceann chúrsa. Our bi-lingual pilgrim journey will be led by local historian Micheál Ó hAllarmhúin. O.S. and companions. Bí linn. Fáilte roimh cách. (Enquiries: Fr. Tomás Ó Luanaigh 087-2213799).

Kilcummin Looking Good Committee would like to sincerely thank everyone who supported our recent Coffee Morning. We’re very grateful to all who contributed with beautiful home baking, their time and generous donations. Your combined effort and support made the event a great success and will help us continue our efforts in enhancing the community for everyone to enjoy.

Janice Carrig will lead a day of prayer this Sunday, June 21^st at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Scartaglen, including Music Ministry starting at 2.30pm with Holy Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy. 

Tidy Towns Adjudicator: With the impending arrival of the Tidy Towns Adjudicator expected over the next few weeks, we would ask all house holders to make a special effort outside their houses to ensure it is presented at its very best. Please ensure if you are a dog owner that you take on your responsibilities associated with dog fouling on footpaths and park. We appreciate and thank you for your assistance and co-operation.

Father’s Day: This Sunday, 21^st June is Father’s Day. We offer a prayer today for all fathers and we give thanks for the love that they give every day of their lives. We also think of those fathers no longer with us.
