Second Collection takes place this weekend on behalf of Education of the Clergy. This fund provides for the education of a future generation of priests whose ministry will continue to be vital in Diocese of Kerry.

May the Month of Our Lady: Every Monday, the Rosary is recited in the church sacristy @ 7.30pm and in Glounonea Grotto @ 8pm. All welcome.

Holy Water will be blessed at weekend Masses and will be available to take away for the blessing of the land, farms and family homes. Rogation Days are next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It would be much appreciated if you could bring your own bottle for the Holy water.

Multi Area Station Mass for Mastergeeha/Glounonea area will take place at 7.30pm in the Mastergeeha Clubhouse on Monday, 18th May. Townlands include Knockancore, Toremore, Mastergeeha, Clydine, Glounnacopple, Glounonea, Lacca and Reenalougha.

Mass for Glounonea Grotto will take place on Thur, 21st May @7.30pm.

Change of Date: The annual Parish Pilgrimage to Knock will take place on Saturday, 27th June. More details follow.

Medjugorie Pilgrimage: Due to demand, there will now be a second trip from Tuesday, 22nd to the 29th of September, ex Cork. Accompanied by Fr. John Keane as Spiritual Director. For further information, please contact Tom Dennehy on 087 468658.

ACCORD Needs You! ACCORD Catholic Marriage Care Service CLG is currently recruiting volunteers to train as marriage preparation programme facilitators to support couples preparing for the Sacrament of Marriage. The marriage preparation programmes have proven to be helpful and effective in helping couples prepare for marriage. Teams work from St. John’s Parish Centre Tralee or The Pastoral Centre Killarney. Rambling House will take place at the Heritage Centre, Scartaglen on Monday 11th May at 8pm. Refreshments served, and all are welcome.

Road L-7034 Rathanane, Kilcummin will be closed on Wednesday, 13th May (08:00hrs to 18:00hrs). The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate a water connection to a new development. Diversions will be as follows: traffic travelling to Kilcummin divert via L-7033, L-3009 and onto L-3018. Traffic travelling from Kilcummin divert via L-3018, L-3009 and onto

L-7033. Diversions will be clearly signposted. Local Access will be provided for Emergency Services and local residents.

Kilcummin Community Games: The Kilcummin Community Games track and field event takes place on Tuesday, 12th May in Killarney Valley Track @ 7pm. Registration takes place from 6.30pm. Events for ages U8 to U16 including a tiny tots race. For a full list of events, please go to our Facebook page. All competitors must reside in Kilcummin Parish.

County Clean Up: Keeping our roads free from litter is a huge effort from all who live and work in our community. A sincere thank you to all the volunteers who assisted in collecting rubbish on the roads in their area, and we would like to acknowledge the contribution of the CE participant’s in this endeavour.
