Fr. Sunny Joseph:We warmly welcome Fr Sunny to the Diocese. Fr Sunny is a Camillan Priest from Kerela in India, he studied in Rome and was ordained a Priest in 2005. He will reside with Fr Alappa also of the Camillan Community, in the Presbytery, Kilcummin. We thank him for his forth coming ministry and for choosing to live and work amongst us. Welcome Fr Sunny.

Music and Singing Workshop to prepare for the Jubilee Gathering on Thursday 25^th Sept in St. John Paul II Pastoral Centre, Killarney, V93 X6HR 7.30 - 9.00pm.

The Irish Catholic Bishops have published a Pastoral Letter on Why Sunday Matters – an invitation to reflect on Sunday Mass. It is available in parishes, or can be downloaded from the diocesan website, www.dioceseofkerry.ie. There is also an accompanying video series entitled Sunday Mass-Digging Deeper, which can be access also on the diocesan website.

Peace with Creation Workshop on Sunday September 21^st, 3pm-5pm. Fossa Parish in collaboration with Diocese of Kerry Justice Peace and integrity of Creation committee (JPIC) share now they have developed part of the church grounds, and are responding to the call of the Bishops to return 30% of parish grounds to nature. There will be a guided tour, Way of Creation Stations, information, networking and light refreshments. The day will close with the planting of a native tree to mark the occasion. Representatives from parishes around the diocese are warmly invited to attend.

Mastergeeha F.C. will hold their Annual Coffee Morning for Hospice Kerry on Saturday 27^th Sept from 9.30 – 11.30am. Home baking welcome on the day.

Anabla National School will host “Dancing at the Crossroads” on Sun, 21^st Sept at 3pm. Join us for an afternoon of music, dance, and community spirit in aid of the school. All warmly invited to come along & support, donations welcome at the door.

A Coffee Morning is taking place on Sunday Morning 5^th October 2025 in aid of Kerry Hospice Foundation and in memory of Derry (Jeremiah) O’ Leary. The coffee morning will take place from 12.30 – 2.30pm in Kilcummin Recreational Hall. It would be great if you could join us and give a donation no matter how big or small. Lily Ladybirds Killarney of the Irish Girl Guides for 5-7-year-olds. Registration evening on Mon 29^th Sep at Presentation Monastery New Rd. Killarney at 6 pm.

Junior Set Dancing will commence on Friday 26^th September in Kilcummin Recreational hall from 7 to 8pm for beginners and intermediates and 8 to 9pm for advanced. These classes give an opportunity for children to learn how to set dance and waltz while having fun. The classes are open to children from within and outside Kilcummin parish.
