A Student’s Prayer
Let us pray for all students undergoing examinations;
Lord, pour out your Spirit of wisdom on these students;
Help them to remain calm,
To attend carefully to the questions asked,
To think clearly, to remember accurately,
And to express themselves well.
Grant that they may reflect the best
of the work they have done
and the best of the teaching they have received.
Accept their best efforts in these examinations and in the great test of life on earth.
May your love be upon them, O Lord,
As they place all their trust in you,
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen

Come Holy Spirit,

Send forth Your Spirit
and they shall be created;

Reflection
“Go, preach the Gospel to all nations.”
This was the farewell command of Christ.
He has no body now on earth but ours.
He has no hands but ours to raise up the fallen.
No feet but ours to seek out the lost.
No eyes but ours to see the silent tears of the suffering.
No ears but ours to listen to the lonely.
No tongue but ours to speak a word of comfort to the sad.
No heart but ours to love the unloved.
Lord, take pity on us, your timid and fearful disciples;
give us the courage to witness you in the world,
and so the Gospel will be preached,
and people will find their way into your kingdom.
